Pulau Joyo, Indonesia

Have you ever thought about booking a whole island just for you and your friends? In Indonesia you can do that and with the comfort of a 5 starts hotel.

Usually, my friends celebrate their birthdays traveling to special places. We gather all together and board to the party with them. Our last “B’Trip” was to Pulau Joyo, a piece of the paradise on Earth.

From Singapore you will spend about 3 hours in total to get there, however, the place itself will reward you and bring you joy with its beauty.

The journey started with a 40 minutes ferry trip from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore to Tanjung Pinang in Bintan, from there we took a bus (the villa offers shuttle service), we were on the road for about two hours to get to a boat transfer. For about 15-20 minutes swinging on the boat, we could see the tinny and beautiful private island.

Living Area – Pulau Joyo, Indonesia

We were welcomed with a cold and delicious juice. At the living space we met the manager, who gave us a rundown about a few precautions to be taken and the activities available in the island.

There was a very good staff team in the island, who made sure we were having the most amazing time. The food was simple, fresh and delicious.

In the island there is not spa, but the staff can arrange masseurs to come in and give a very relaxing massage. We also kayaked around the island what it did not take long, as the island is very small and also snorkelling, all the equipment are available for free use.

Joyo was the kind of experience I will never forget in life and I am looking forward to the opportunity to go back there or to any other private island
